Fountains, gardens
[edit]We need a list of the fountains and the gardens (Baroque g., French g., English g. etc.), or at least major ones. --Scriberius (talk) 10:13, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Gardens of Vatican City. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://www.moplants.com/archives/vatican_gardens.php
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).

I translated from the Italian Wikipedia article and added 3 blocks of texts. Also, corrected a couple of punctuation mistakes and added references. Content in this edit is translated from the existing Italian Wikipedia article at it:Giardini Vaticani; see its history for attribution.

Reverting Latin names
[edit]@Johnbod: you are reverting this IP user's addition of Latin names to Vatican-related articles, and perhaps I agree with you, but do you have a rationale for keeping them all out? Elizium23 (talk) 06:19, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
- There's a policy on keeping foreign language names to a minimum somewhere, and whatever language the Vatican officially uses, I see no benefit in giving them, especially over and over again (as he was doing in some cases), and when they are very similar to the Italian, which we should obviously have. Pure cruft. By all means do an Rfc if you like. Johnbod (talk) 05:19, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
